Deviation Actions
Until I manage to do the effort of drawing it out to make a visual sheet (/cries) I will just have this here for future reference.
You do not have to edit your existing Aigippus. If I approved it, it's fine already!
Must have
- Five hooved toes, of which three touch the ground
- Mane on the neck until middle of back, forelock
- Tail with a tuft of longer hair at the end, like a donkey's or zebra's
- Convex back (as opposed to actual horses!) highest point of back is in the middle
- Some sort of striping
- Natural colourscheme
:bigthumb538530853:
Common (When making an Aigippus use these traits to your heart's desire)
- Even mix between the two types
- Stripes on the hindquarters
- Stripes on legs (unless covered by white markings)
- Dorsal stripe
- Eartip or -edge markings
- Dark skin colour (as seen on nose)
- All natural base colours
- Colour patterns like roan and dun
- White markings like piebald, sabino, overo etc.
Uncommon (You can use these if you want, but don't overdo it)
- Slightly leaning towards hare or rabbit-type
- Stripes on neck and shoulders
- White markings taking up more than half the body in total
- Mane that extends a bit after the middle of back (even mixes and rabbit types only)
- Mane that ends a bit before the middle of back (even mixes are hare types only)
- Hanging toes growing longer than usual and sharp
- Dapple grey and other types of grey in which the Aigippus is born coloured and slowly becomes white
Rare (Ask before using as I want to keep them rare)
- Strongly leaning towards hare or rabbit type
- Calico-ish colours and patterns
- Stripes on face
- Zebra-like stripe pattern covering the body partially or completely
- Appaloosa-like patterns
- Mane that extends onto the tail (rabbit types only)
- Mane that ends at the shoulder (hare types only)
- Longer ears than normal
- No forelock
Very rare (Don't use these yourself, I will only make these myself very rarely)
- Pure hare or rabbit type
- Albinism
- Colour schemes and patterns that strongly look like other wild mammals (e.g skunk, timber wolf, gazelle, okapi, etc.)
- Mane that extends a bit after the middle of back on hare types
- Mane that ends a bit before the middle of back on rabbit types
- Donkey-like ears
- Feathering on the legs
- Longer mane and horse-like tails
Impossible (These are never to be used on a normal Aigippus and will only be used on "crack" or non-serious Aigippus if ever)
- Unnatural colours
- Fangs
- Horns and antlers
- Wings and fins
- Magical features
- Everything else
I think that's about it!

News Journal
This is just a journal for news and updates in the group!
Up until this day I (Vuurstern (https://www.deviantart.com/vuurstern)) was the only admin in this group, but today draqiin (https://www.deviantart.com/draqiin), Griwi (https://www.deviantart.com/griwi) and SheepMaker (https://www.deviantart.com/sheepmaker) have joined as admins to help me out with various aspects of the group. We plan to do more world building, creating events following Flooded and a storyline to put your characters in, things to achieve and a lot more! There will also be more adoptables, so if you don't have any design ideas yourself, there should be options to buy designs from us.
We're going to see where this is going! I know the group has been somewhat dormant up until this point, bu
Event: Travelling ENDED
EDIT: Event will be extended to the 15th of September to allow people more time to enter if they wish to do so!
This journal describes the ongoing event. The current event is Travelling.
Sorry there has been no activity in this group for a while aha we're doing our best but we all just started college again and life is hard. The winner of TRAVELLING will be announced as soon as I can talk to the other guys! <3 Thanks so much for participating! Hopefully we will have a new event up soon as well, will keep you posted! - draqiin (https://www.deviantart.com/draqiin)
Requirements to enter
- You need to be a member of Aigippus (https://www.deviantart.com/aigippus) in order to be allowed to submit to the event
Hoofprints
Hoofprints are the group currency of Aigippus (https://www.deviantart.com/aigippus). They are entirely optional, and you do not need to collect them if you're not interested in them! You can use them to receive art prizes of your Aigippus. Other prizes may be added later.
Basic calculations Images must be related to group events in order to count for hoofprints! Random art will not count.
Headshot, bustshot of halfbody: 1 hoofprint
Fullbody: 2 hoofprints
One extra Aigippus in the drawing, belonging to you: 1 hoofprint (if not fullbody, then 0)
One extra Aigippus in the drawing, belonging to someone else: 2 hoofprints (if not fullbody, then 1)

Rules for MYO and ownership of Aigippus
I thought it'd be best to write these down before misconceptions happen (luckily they haven't, but preventing is always best!) This journal contains the basic rules for a MYO, what you can do with it, and what if you want to get rid of your Aigippus (goes for MYO and ones designed by me).
Make Your Own rules
- You can make an Aigippus as a character of your own, or as a gift to someone else.
- You can make one for FREE.
- You can NOT make adoptables/custom designs of them for points/money. Only people who have explicit permission from Vuurstern (https://www.deviantart.com/vuurstern) may make adoptables of them (see list below).
To get an Aigippus approved, draw the des
